Change location where metadata is stored
Hello,
as far as I know iTunes can store the metadate in its own libary or in
the file itself.
What I want is that all metadata in my current libary should be in the file, that other
mediacenter software (e.g. Plex) could use it.
Is there a possibility to move/copy with VideoDrive the metadata from the
iTunes libaray to the several files?
Thanks for your support.

Re: Change location where metadata is stored
As I understand it, only certain filetypes allow embedding of metadata, namely MP4.
So this will restrict whether you can embed into all your files.
Secondly, Plex constantly checks and updates metadata in the background from the internet - so it it really necessary to embed it?
If you are having trouble with Plex mis-identifying certain files, select the file, then press 'c' and you can change the details and ask it to rescan.
