Fatal internal error - not importing into itunes
Hi All
I am currently in the process of converting my TV Shows so than be be played through iTunes. Here is what I do:
Using Method 6:
1. Drop my TV Show Currently .avi into a Hot Folder
2. Video Drive converts this into a m4v using Handbrake CLI
3. I use local storage to speed up the process. Once finished it gets copies onto my NAS by Video Drive to /Volumes/PUBLIC
4. It appears in iTunes with all the metadata
This worked perfectly until I upgraded to the latest version of 2.4. I now get the following error:
09:14:36: Fatal internal error: iTunes did not accept metadata for The Wire 1x03 The Buys: iTunes cannot locate the video with name The Wire - 1x03 - The Buys.avi in the iTunes library. No Metadata has been added to the video
An upgrade to 2.5 has also not resolved the issue. Please help as this worked perfectly until recently.

Re: Fatal internal error - not importing into itunes
So, the problem does or does not occur with version 2.4?
And what do you mean when you state VideoDrive ignores the fact you are using import method 6 ?

Re: Fatal internal error - not importing into itunes
I thought it was resolved and it isn`t. This issue happens when I use mkv as a source file. avi files work ok.
Using method 6 on an avi it works as expected. File gets dropped into a hot folder, converted on the local disk, copied to the right location on my NAS (I have the option organise files in sub folders selected), added into iTunes and the original deleted.
mkv files create the error in the subject.
