video format not supported by iPhone?

video format not supported by iPhone?

a while ago i bought some tv show episodes on iTunes and they worked on my iPod touch, but today i tried to upload them on my iPhone and a message said video format not supported by iPhone. i dont understand because the videos were purchased through iTunes and its an apple iPhone. i need to fix this ASAP so what can i do to put them on my iPhone???
